Canada is at war! No this is not a bomb dropping shoot’em up war. This is an economic war foisted on us by the current administration of the USA. It is not a war we wanted but we will win. We will be much stronger as a country for it. But first we must realize we are at war! It was apparent when Trump originally said he wanted to make us the 51st. State. That was his original declaration of war! There was no joke! We’ve been here before. We were at war for 3 years before the States decided to get involved in Europe. During those years, we built the infrastructure to help protect England and Europe and ultimately ourselves. We built ships and munitions, bombs and guns. This time around we need Canadian computers, communications, systems and firewalls. We need the ability to put our own satellites in orbit. We need to present and appreciate more Canadian content. We need to stop exporting our raw products and only export value added items. Companies that do business in Canada should be 60% owned and managed by Canadians. We need to focus on the infrastructure to continue to be the true North Strong and Free. We have the minerals and the manpower. We just need the will. There is nothing that we can’t do. We need to bring our manufacturing back to Canada. We need to put our Country in a position of not being dependent on any other nation.We need to be vigilant to prevent other countries from sabotaging our young, our elections and our leaders. As a Country, we need to start saving again. We should put aside a percentage of all our income to shield us through the tough times and those tough times should never deplete the nest egg. We have resources, They MUST work for Canada! We still need alliances and we need to continue to support those countries that have our back. We also need to understand that there are millions of our southern neighbours that are also in this fight. A lot of them were blindsided too.They probably won’t come out and specifically support us, but they will work within their system to try to bring it back to normal. The tactics of their current administration is to deflect, deceive and destroy. We have some of those in Canada that we also need to stop as soon as possible. It would help a lot if all that could, would grow gardens and do whatever they can to be self or community supportive. Talk to your neighbours, Lets keep Canada the best country in the World and not be sucked in by the mis-information going on down south. Lets fly our Flag; One Flag one Pole and be proud of our Nation! Frank Peters
