<When I was a kid, I lost my dad. later on I read some stories about how owls had a reputation for being harbingers of death. (Esp. 'Huck Fin and 'I heard the owl call my name') Then one day outside the cabin, I saw an owl swoop down into the snow from a perch in a tree and come up with a mouse in it's talons. This song grew from there!>
